The weekend

Include your email address in your RSVP for updates on all events

Friday, October 2

The Happily Ever “After Party”
5:30 - 9 p.m.
Ex Novo Brewing, Corrales, New Mexico

The main event, featuring dinner, drinks and donkeys! Let’s play lawn games, swap stories over a good meal, and eat s’mores around the firepits during a pink Sandia sunset. Then it’s early to bed — you’ll need your beauty rest for balloons!

Saturday, October 3

Balloons with the Bride & Groom
Informal gathering, no RSVP necessary
Balloon Fiesta Park, ~5a.m.-8a.m.

We know it’s early, but it’s worth it! Grab a breakfast burrito while 600+ hot air balloons take flight above Albuquerque.

Balloons are weather-dependent. If the wind doesn’t cooperate on Saturday, we’ll try again on Sunday.

(Afternoon nap highly recommended!)

(Totally Optional) Sunset Concert: Mumford & Sons feat. Sierra Ferrell
No RSVP necessary, tickets on your own
7:30p.m., Isleta Amphitheater, ABQ

We love a good outdoor concert, especially if there’s banjo-picking! As of July 6 there are still $50 spots on the lawn (where we’ll be) as well as assigned seats available if you’d like to join us. Mumford & Sons is fun live, and opener Sierra Ferrell is one of Becky’s favorites.

Folk-bluegrass not your jam? There’s plenty else to do around town, including the evening Balloon Glow at Balloon Fiesta Park —at night the balloons inflate instead of fly, with a post-glow fireworks show— or the New Mexico United soccer game.

Sunday, October 4

If the balloons don’t go up on Saturday due to weather, we’ll go see them Sunday instead and skip the hike!

10a.m. Farewell Fall Foliage Hike
No RSVP necessary, exact trail TBD

If you’re still in town on Sunday, join us for a little fall foliage hike in our home mountain range, the Sandias. The aspens featured on our wedding rings should be in full golden glow!

*Please include your email address in your RSVP for updates on all these events!

Our love story

We found love in a hopeless place…Tinder! In 2022, Trevor was working for Disney in Los Angeles and housesitting for his mom in Albuquerque, where Becky had just bought a house after years of travel. We both swiped right — and got swiped off our feet! Becky finally met her “Disney prince.”

We actually went to the same high school, lived in the same neighborhood as teenagers, and even have a few mutual friends — but somehow, we never met until the timing was right!

After a year of whirlwind long-distance, flying back and forth between Hollywood and Tamalewood, Disney laid off Trevor’s whole team (boo, hiss) while we were vacationing in Japan. This freed Trevor to move to New Mexico, but not before an epic road trip from LA to Yosemite to Glacier National Park to ABQ. We were already in love by then, but all those miles and smiles and roadside diners got us both thinking, “hey, I could do this with you forever.”

In January 2025, during a month of dreamy van life in New Zealand, Trevor surprised Becky with the One Ring from The Lord of the Rings at an alpine lake dotted with wildflowers. Becky thought the proposal was a joke at first, given the ring…but when she realized Trevor was serious, she said YES, PRECIOUSSSS!

During our long engagement, we bought a beautiful house together near the Rio Grande and made it a happy, hobbity home for us and the world’s best dog, Smokey “Sleepybones” Jones. Trevor used his 3D modeling skills to design a perfect custom wedding ring based on aspens, Becky’s favorite tree, to replace the “One” ring.

A few days before the After Party, we’re eloping in the Colorado mountains among our favorite golden trees, just the two of us. Smokey pup will be our witness.

Then, a couple days later, we’ll celebrate with our loved ones —that’s you!— back home in Albuquerque. We’re SO excited to celebrate with you!

Where to stay

Balloon Fiesta is the best time of year in Albuquerque, but it’s also the busiest!!

We recommend booking travel ASAP if you plan to join us. Hotels and flights rarely sell out, but they will get more expensive the longer you wait to book.

We will have a small room block at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown, which is cheaper than it would otherwise be for Balloon Fiesta. If you’d like to use that room block, there are two ways to book:

  1. Reserve a room online via our custom link

  2. Call 1-800-EMBASSY and give “Group Code”: 90K

This special rate is only available until our RSVP deadline, 9/1/2026.

If you aren’t seeing the special rate, our room block is likely full. Please text/call Becky or Trevor and we’ll see if it’s possible to add more rooms! (Subject to hotel availability.)

If you plan to stay elsewhere, both the wedding party and Balloon Fiesta are on the northwest side of Albuquerque — but those areas will be the most popular! You might also consider staying near one of the Balloon Fiesta Park & Ride lots to avoid traffic on the morning of Balloon Fiesta.

Albuquerque isn’t huge, so pretty much anywhere you stay will be <30 minutes from both the venue and Balloon Fiesta. (We recommend leaving your hotel no later than 4:30am on Balloon Fiesta mornings.)
